What is the Research Store
Access the best cannabis products at the lowest possible price — and help shape what we build next.
The Research Store is a short-term initiative of iNkosi yeSativa™ Co-operative. We have sourced products from the leading cannabis manufacturers available today — vapes, oils, flower, edibles and pharmaceutical products. There is no markup for profit. The objective is not to run a commercial store; it is to gather real, independent data in real time.
Every purchase, return, and product rating feeds directly into an evaluation programme that will determine which manufacturers the Co-operative partners with when placing the large-scale orders that hundreds of grower-members will eventually depend on. We are not guessing. We are testing.
Why Become a Member
Prices kept as low as possible
We are not here to make a margin. Products are priced to reflect our actual cost of acquisition. Where a manufacturer offers a better deal, that benefit is passed directly to members.
Verified products only
We do not stock new, unknown, or unproven manufacturers. Every product in the Research Store has been selected on the basis of industry recognition, independent testing, and demonstrated quality.
Your data stays private
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The data we collect is transactional — what was purchased, what was returned, how products performed. Names are not what we are after.
Why membership
The Research Store is not a conventional retailer, and membership is not a formality. We are a co-operative in the process of selecting long-term manufacturing partners for large-scale production. The data generated by Research Store members — what sells, what is returned, what earns the highest ratings — is the foundation on which those decisions will be made. Membership takes less than two minutes, is entirely free, and carries no subscription or recurring charges. What members contribute is simply their experience. What they receive in return is access to verified, competition-grade cannabis products at as close to cost price as we can offer.
This is not the Growers Co-operative
Research Store Membership is for buyers — anyone who wants access to verified Durban Poison® products. It is entirely separate from membership of the iNkosi yeSativa™ Agricultural Co-operative, which is open to cultivators and growers and is built on a very different model.
